The City of Mason is making it easier for you to pay your utility and tax payments. A drop box is now available and located near the back entrance of City Hall and Police Department. Payments for invoices, water bills, new account fees and deposits for water, summer and winter tax bills may be placed in the drop box. Park keys and City Hall community room keys can also be placed in the drop box.

Payments received after hours will be processed the next business day. Please be aware that tax and water bill payments must still be received by 5:00 pm on their due date to avoid penalty charges. It is recommended that if an item is time sensitive and during working hours, that you bring the payment in to insure that it is processed. The drop box will be checked at 5:00 pm by City Hall staff. All payments received after 5:00 pm will be processed the next business day.

During election timeframes, absent voter applications and ballots may also be deposited in the drop box with the same policy being observed. Keep in mind that the polls close at 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. A ballot deposited in the drop box after 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, will not be counted.
